Charleston creative community

Our goal is to create a space within the Church for Creatives to gather to be encouraged, educated, and empowered in their gifts.

Are you creative? Maybe you didn't go to art school, but you enjoy creating on some level? Or maybe you're a professional artist looking for a creative community? Perhaps you'd like to try a new medium, or you'd like to hone existing skills. Regardless of where you are on the creative spectrum or what your creative needs are, this community is for you.

Purpose

Our purpose is to help Creatives:

  • Find God as the source of all creativity.
  • Grow their faith, which will naturally grow their creativity as a by-product.
  • Discover their purpose as a Creative within the Church.
  • Make a difference by doing work that matters in a creative way that connects with people and connects people with God.

OVERVIEW

We will meet as a large group for a brief Ted Talk-style teaching about Biblical Creativity and the value of the Arts within the Body of Christ. Then we will break into workshops led by skilled artisans. These workshops will vary month-to-month, featuring a wide gamete of art forms.
